With financial security in the US being at an all time low, more young people than ever have lost faith in the promise of growing old with a full retirement. As young people in America watch their parents lose pensions, get foreclosed out of homes, get laid off without severance packages and lose life savings in order to pay medical bills, they are beginning to look abroad for life circumstances that seem more fulfilling.
While many sites provide information for retirees that have cast their gaze abroad in hopes of spending their last years in a more fulfilling fashion, very few sites focus on providing information pertinent to the young person considering a transition overseas.
YoungExpat is dedicated to sharing information with non-retirees about the fruits of living internationally.
