Rawesome Foods Targeted by Feds

About four months ago, my wife drove me to Whole Foods in Venice, CA. She then parked, but instead of walking in, we walked around back – past the alley to a dark street. There stood a private farmer’s market with a gate and guard.
As a Black man, I was naturally taken aback by the security and prison atmosphere.
As soon as we made it past the checkpoint, we were greeted by the nicest people. We were in Rawesome Foods, a natural raw foods market where consumers can buy fresh natural food not tainted by industrialization and the corporate machine. Their milk has not been pasteurized; their meat all grass-fed and not pumped with antibiotics and hormones; and their produce free of insecticides and GMO’s.
Much to my surprise, this small operation on a tiny lot was the target of unfair raids and seizures by federal agencies.
