With Perry dropping rapidly in the polls, he felt compelled to release this new ad pandering to the ultra-conservative, bigoted middle America.

I agree that “his words” did not say gays in the military are a bad
thing but it WAS clearly implied in his comparison. And his comparison
was aimed at the President but also held an underhanded handed slap to
gay men and women serving! His message could be boiled down to this;
how can the President let these sinners openly serve while doing NOTHING
for the saints? “ Then saying he would
stop “Obama’s WAR” (his words) on peoples right to practice religion!
Prayer was stricken from public schools in 1963 (see: Murray v. Curlett
lawsuit, which led to a landmark Supreme Court ruling ending official
Bible-reading in American public schools in 1963) and the President was
2 years old, but let’s tack that up on the Presidents door too !
He is in a loosing campaign and he is doing the GOP Shuffle, which is
running to the right of its base in a last ditch effort to raise his
numbers. In doing so he indeed did “use” the repeal of DADT to slam
that decision and by extension, it does devalue the relationships of
anyone in the military who is gay! Finally, it has to be asked, what
war against religion has the President waged? Everyone is speaking
about the slam against the repeal of DADT and in doing that we ignore
the crazy ass lie that he put forth!
It really is a ridiculous campaign video.
I’m embarrassed for him.
ahahahah what does sexual
orientation have to do with xmas tho, REALLY? I know he is trying to
make the whole thing about “faith” but bwahahahha this is just hilarious
and comes off random. Eff it, Im voting for Rick Perry, he will be my
write in candidate for President. I need the constant laughs.
